Thanks to everyone who participated in the inaugural MoneyDance. Take a look at the complete recap.

MoneyDance is a virtual event merging a hackathon, summit, and demo day all into one streamlined experience beginning September 28, 2020 and ending December 9, 2020. MoneyDance is for blockchain developers interested in building decentralized solutions that further democratize the financial markets.

Developers will begin with MoneyDance Hackathon on September 28, where they will build projects using Avalanche and MoneyDance partners’ technology. Running parallel with the hackathon is MoneyDance Summit, business and technical webinars led by industry experts like Emin Gün Sirer, Sergey Nazarov, Elizabeth Stark, and more! At the end of the hackathon, 5 hackathon finalists will have the opportunity to present to leading VCs and investors during the MoneyDance Demo Day on December 9.

Hackathon participants can win up to $27,500 in prizes and have a chance to win the $10,000 grand prize at MoneyDance Demo Day. There are 5 Hackathon Finalists total: 4 Finalists are determined by MoneyDance Hackathon Judges, and 1 Finalist is determined by a community vote.
